In the early 1900s the La Roccas left the southern coast of Sicily for the vibrant streets of New York City, with little more than the cherished traditions of family and food. Amidst the challenges & adventures of forging a new life, coffee was an anchor to their roots, a means of connection, & a moment of joy.
The generations that followed were taught there is beauty in the simplicities of life – that sitting at the table together is more important than what’s on it, and that there’s always time for coffee.
